The Spot Nail Bar

Went to this nail salon last Friday, July 1st! You walk in there and there is a very strong smell of acrylic 🫢 You don’t even get to look at the color samples on the wall, your handed a book and a ring of nail colors when you sit down. I got a gel mani and a reg pedi. Sitting down getting the pedi, I couldn’t see the swatches, very dark in there. I picked a light gray white for the matching gel mani and pedi! She was done with the pedi and she went to go put the color on my toes and it isn’t even the color on the swatch. She claimed it was. So I had to change my color. After I got a gel mani. Everything went wrong.(after I told her 4times I was getting a gel mani and it was said when the appt was made!) she soaked my nails in a water bowl, cut every single cuticle on all my fingers(cuticle

I requested winter themed French nails with cute frogs. I was very specific and got laughed at. I showed reference pictures and still couldn't get the exact result. I'm not gonna lie the nail tech who did the snowflake nailed it (pun intended) however, I'm not sure if its the language barrier but they rushed the frog and ended the main art design I wanted which left me disappointed. I'm not gonna deny they have amazing hospitality but they don't take tap and you have to venmo tip if you don't have cash. I wanted to tip the nail artist instead cuz she did the hardest part. I couldn't even tip both cuz they can't understand what I'm saying. Not bad but if you want personal art I don't recommend.

Nancy did my nails. She is artistic and dreams up designs not having to use photos. Easy to get an appointment and easy to access. Good parking, can no longer add the tip to the bill.

Stopped in about 4 pm on a Saturday with a friend for a quick manicure. This was the first time I had been here. There are many stations set up, but at that time there were only 4 other people being serviced. The ventilation is terrible. The place is filthy. We were seated on opposite sides of the large back area. Our coats were dropped on the floor by my tech. They were covered in acrylic dust. An employee fainted to the floor while we were in the shop. No one seemed alarmed. Very bizarre place. I won't be returning.

If i could give no stars, I would. They have unfair prices and they make up prices as they feel. Super rude people working there and they do not take their time on you. I don't even know why these people run a business. I would tell everyone to turn around as soon as they walk into the store. I wanted something small fixed on my nail when I was done and she said come tomorrow because I have another client. I live two hours away and when I told her that she shrugged and laughed. I have never had that happen to me before. 🙄
