The Spa At Sacred Grounds

The spa facility itself is fine definitely no bells or whistles. We went in thinking we were going to get a traditional massage, but it was not. I filled out a form, looking to focus on specific parts of my body and where I carry my stress. I’m not sure if she even read the form she wanted to do things like dry brushing on me and focus on my feet. I told her no to both, and that I was looking to relieve the stress in my shoulders and back. She proceeded for 90 minutes to lightly press on my body and what felt like she was flicking bugs off of me. I didn’t say anything because the bed was warm and cozy and I just thought I would let her do her thing. As a massage therapist, she is an artist of the highest order combining empathetic care with therapeutic touch to leave you feeling nourished and relaxed as you head out the door back into the fresh Door County air. I truly cannot say enough good things about my deep tissue massage with Kim. I haven’t had a massage in years and this was the best experience. For the first time in a long time, I was relaxed and completely at ease. Kim’s attention to spots of tension and massage was exactly what I didn’t know I needed. Thank you, Kim. The office space is inviting, revitalizing, relaxing, serene and just wonderful.

On our honeymoon we went for massages. Becky was awesome! I had the Raindrop Massage service and it was great!! Very relaxing. Husband had Kim and had the Lomi Lomi (Hawaiian) massage and she was great too! Highly recommend this place.
