Great spa experience overall! The services were excellent, and the setting was beautiful and relaxing. Just a heads-up: if you’re planning to use the amenities, they’re located at a different (but walkable) location. However, the shuttle is only available to overnight guests, which was a bit of a letdown. Aside from that small hiccup, we had a wonderful afternoon and would definitely return.
I called on Wednesday to book a 3 pm Friday appointment and left a message. Was promptly called back and was told while they did not have enough staff on hand that day to accommodate me, they would call someone in just to take my appointment. Talk about 5 star service!! We arrived and the hot and humid Florida air was a stark comparison to the cool, clean and tranquil facilities. Mint and cucumber water with nuts and dried fruit are offered next to a calming waterfall. Wicker lounge chairs line a plant filled courtyard where robes and sandals await. My masseuse they called in wound up being the nicest woman and made me feel at ease as soon as she greeted me. I felt as if I was spending time with my grandmother again...she was just so warm and inviting. It was like the universe said, here,
Very disappointed in my spa experience during Aug.2025. We understood that the spa was under renovations but that they were still able to perform as usual. We saw nothing like what the pictures on the website depicted. It was basically like a hotel suite, very small lobby and tiny rooms, no lounging area. I had made a reservation for a body exfoliation and dry brush. It was only a dry brush to my arms front and back, not the entire arm like a sleeve,my back to waist, and legs to my knee, again only front and back not sides or the entire leg and only up to my knees. Since the room had no sink or running water I’m guessing they had to improvise. However they did not adjust the treatment price at all. We (my daughter and I) spent approximately $800+ on four treatments over two days that we’
I was disappointed with my 3 night stay..the most disappointing factor was the lack of information provided at check in and finding out after check out that we were charged 40.00 a night for use of the amenities that we were not even provided info on. We used the shuttle from our villa to a restaurant inside the resort 1 time. So 135.00 on my bill for not using the amenities we didnt even know existed. We were given a villa where the microwave and the refrigerator is in the bathroom. Just disappointed. Amelia Island is beautiful but be sure to consider all your stay options and get all the information up front. Force them to take their.time.with you at check in..I repeatedly told the check in associate that I had never been there.but she still didn't cover everything at check in was sure
I have to say, this was such a wonderful experience. My husband surprised me with a birthday getaway. Deedra was super knowledgeable and friendly during check-in. She gave us all the details of things to do during our stay. Our suite was huge with amazing views. We were greeted with champagne and charcuterie and a beautiful view of the ocean and pool. We loved the access to restaurants, the beach, and pool. My husband scheduled a massage at the spa and it was glorious. Shameka & Jennifer were super friendly at check-in/out. I can’t wait to come back again. The baked oysters at the poolside restaurant are a must try!
