The Spa At Mountain Laurel

Rooms were slightly above par, major let down that there is no wifi in hotel rooms and the tvs are really bad. Food is expensive and will run you close to $100 for four people with each of them having entrees, drinks, and dessert for each person. I have pictures of the desserts and the nearby by indoor waterpark h2ooooooooh. The indoor pool (in the hotel, not h2ooooooh) had way too much chlorine and left marks on my skin and left it red. Also, why would a person need to be 18 or over to go into a hot tub? Not much to do unless you like watching TV all day. Also, there is no complimentary dinner or breakfast. The rooms also look shabby from the outside. There is definitely a lot of room for improvement, split rock resort is much better than here.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I booked massages months in advance for a group of us and when we arrived no one was even at the spa. The receptionist at the hotel tried to call them and no one would respond. I called 4 times during the day and no one responded. How do you have a business and not show up to work, especially when you have reservations booked? Do not go here.

Yeah for sure this place has gone down in not just services but customer service. I feel for the clerks in the front who basically are being spoken to rudely and the managers are not to be seen. The place appears to have a place to be. But now, maybe due to covid times, it just lost its shine. The place needs more employees and I assume with our pandemic programs better for employees to stay home make more money than to come to work. Again, the place looks shabby. Not because of the old look and furniture. Just that is is dirty. Stuff all over the place. I saw an employee walk by garbage on the floor and on the table and did nothing to to pick it up. The service is absolute GARBAGE. We booked a bachelorette party and they took down our info and credit card a month in advance. We arrived to not only find the hotel under construction but the spa was CLOSED. No one could get ahold of the masseuse and the bride was devastated. The bride cried. 0/5 stars.

Being a single person I enjoyed the quiet most of the time. The massage I had was very good and relaxing. The staff was accommodative and professional. I like that the location has McDonald's, Arby's, gas station, BK all within 1/2 mile.
