The Spa At Kona Beach Hotel

It is a little confusing but this is inside the Marriott hotel. Very kind women doing the treatments. The body scrub/mud is so nice and the shower after is very fun. My skin was very soft afterwards. The Lomi lomi massage was very nice as well. Wrapped it up with a moisturizing facial. No complaints!

Mixed experience. The website makes it look like you can use the pool and hot tub at the hotel but NO. Told on arrival that they are independent of the hotel. And their sauna was out of order. False advertising! But the massage by Lily and mini facial by (?)Loraine were very good. Only issue was the towel used for the facial left tiny clumps of lint on my face fine hairs which took a while to pull off! And the towel for the nice pressure shower was old and threadbare. The man at the front desk seemed confused and awkward and couldn’t explain why I was told on the phone by someone else that we could use the hotel pool/spa. Or why their web pics show the pool. I tried to make an appointment online but I had some questions and since I was already in the hotel I decided to walk over and ask 20 minutes after they opened but no one was there, I came back half hour later and still no one, I called the number and left a message. No one called me back. I called again a few hours later and the man on the phone was really confused, I told him what time I want an appointment and he said I think I have availability let me call you back. Big shock he never called back. I decided to swing by the spa at the time I wanted an appointment, 2 hours before they closed, just because I was curious and lo and behold no one was there. I don't understand how a place can stay in business if no one can make an appointment.

I got a massage from Lindsay and a facial from Loryn and both were excellent. It was one of the most relaxing spa days of my life. The gentleman at the front desk was so warm and kind. And Loryn was so apologetic and helpful when the sauna was on the fritz. She taught us a hula while we waited for it to heat up. Spa owners: get this spa a new sauna!

The services are provided at a very low cost and their workers are very good. Every job is done right and they are located next to the sea and offer a wonderful view.
