The Spa at Chatham Bars Inn

My daughter and I went on November 3rd to celebrate her birthday (the 3rd) and my birthday (the 6th). Our entire experience was excellent. We both got facials by Alyssa. She was awesome. She gave an amazing facial as well as massage on the scalp, shoulders, and neck. While outside enjoying the hot tub, we received complimentary birthday champagne. What a nice surprise that was. We used the steam room as well which was relaxing. Any employee we encountered was pleasant and professional. Thank you for making our birthdays a memorable experience!

Just got back from a weekend staying in the spa suites - the room was incredible and relaxing. We had a massage booked early on Saturday to make the most of our day while in town. My partner and I both had subpar experiences. Speaking to my experience, the massage therapist seemed not formally trained and/or too tired. She didn’t respond to my pressure requests, yawned throughout the entirety of the service, and the head massage was questionable. Overall by the end I was just glad it was over. In my opinion the price did not reflect the standard of service for us this past weekend which was disappointing.

Peaceful, welcoming, and worth every penny! The spa at Chatham Bars Inn is beautiful, with an outdoor pool and jacuzzi, tucked away in a zen garden with beautiful flowers, birds and even a few bunnies hoping about. Inside a sauna, steam showers, hair bar and high end tools a cozy relaxation room featuring teas and fruit-infused water. The staff keep everything tidy and inviting. I had a 90-minute CBD massage with Ash, which was absolutely divine. She even warmed my robe and offered me a cold tea and chocolate truffle after my treatment. Highly recommend for anyone visiting The Cape! Especially if you are attending special events as this massage offers a detox and body drainage effects that last all day . Overall my treatment experience was great! My massage therapist Yuli asked enough questions to get the pressure correct but was not overly talkative. Unfortunately, there appeared to be a staff shortage based on the fact that no one gave us a tour of the facility, there were no clean flip flops when my group arrived, towels were spilling outside the hamper, a lack of towels preventing showers after treatment for some in my party, and snacks and remnants were not promptly cleaned up in relaxation lounge. Additionally, the hot tub while warm was not working properly. To elevate the experience despite the staff shortage, I recommend adding more hampers and garbage cans so guests can dispose of items easily. I wanted to share my side of the experience after my cousin left a review about their less than favorable time here at the spa last week. A couple of days before the services were rendered, the headache had already begun. I called to leave my credit card on file to pay for my mother’s service. That’s all. Should’ve been that simple. It took forty five minutes for the receptionist on the phone to figure this out. Told me no she couldn’t do that. Said there is already a card on file. I explain, well yes, because you require a card to hold the appointment. But I am out of state wanting to pay for my mother’s appointment as a surprise. She could not figure out how to add the card.
