The Spa at Black Rock

My wife and I had amazing massages at The Spa at Black Rock. The setting was amazing with both our rooms feeling the ocean breeze. My wife prenatal massage was super helpful, and she was thankful for how accommodating they were to her in her pregnancy. Nichole was my massage therapist, and it was a deep tissue massage that was healing. We highly recommend this spot!

Worst massage I’ve had!!! The therapist ran around the room the whole time! Nothing about the massage was professional, therapeutic or relaxing! The hot stones were cold and she barely used them. She would “massage my shoulders then move to my right calf and then my left thigh and then back to my right foot. She literally did laps around the bed and never focused on one area and at time. At one point she sat by the bed and talked to my husband’s therapist. I finally asked if she was done. It was horrible and I’m sick I paid so much for such a worthless 80 minutes!!! I’ve been to this place several times but not any more!!!!

My husband and I got facials and massages here, my massage and facial were both done by Nichole and she was amazing!!! A wonderful soul, and extremely talented massage therapist and wellness expert. We both had the best time and feel so relaxed. Best massage and facial I have ever had tbh!!!

My massage therapist name was Spark. As soon as she came into the room and called my name, I thought, this may not be what I am expecting. I could just feel her vibe. My husband also had a massage at the same time (we booked a couple's massage and were able to get in within an hour), they didn't have it booked for a couple's massage but awkwardly said they would accommodate it. His massage was fantastic, mine was lack luster. She was extremely awkward which is exactly what I was afraid of from the moment she entered the room. She must've held my neck in her hands for 10 minutes not really doing anything (maybe needing a break?), moved my legs into a frog like position when massaging my legs ( never had this happen) which was very weird, rubbed more than massaged (a lot of forearms)

Terri was the best masseuse I have ever had. She used traditional Hawaiian flow that was the most incredible and relaxing rhythm. She used firm pressure and the product used was so yummy. I can’t wait to come back, highly recommend this spa and Terri specifically.
