I was invited by a friend to get a facial for my birthday and that’s all I knew about the appointment. We arrived and I was serviced first as they only do one facial at a time. Afterwards I was ushered to a man in a white wrinkled lab coat… Bobbie the “doctor.” He then proceeded to talk to me about a couple of under eye creams that were sitting on the desk and did a demonstration on me. Mind you he’s wiping this stuff all over my face in my eye area right after I just finished my cleansing and moisturizing facial. The products appeared to work, but I’m a skeptic and for all I know it was an optical illusion. Anyway, he offers the products, two small items that were supposed to be a two year supply, for $350. If zero was an option - I booked a LED light facial at The Soap Tree in Celebration after seeing a $59 introductory offer, hoping to treat myself. The treatment itself was lovely, and Andrea, my therapist, was absolutely amazing — truly 5 stars for her care, professionalism, and kindness. The receptionist was also warm and welcoming. Unfortunately, my experience took a very upsetting turn afterward. Without being told in advance, I was taken into another room for a skincare “consultation” with Bobby, which quickly became a sales pitch for two products priced at $650 and $250.
