The Siren Salon

I have been going to siren salon for 8 months now, and Ava Garappolo is my hair stylist. She is very talented and does great work! We have been working on getting my hair lighter and she has done a great job with it, and keeping my hair healthy at the same time! The salon itself it's a great environment, very clean and welcoming space! I have had a great experience with Ava and Siren salon and would recommend to everybody!

This is for the owner and/or senior stylist. I have had my hair cut, many times, at a salon in the Boston area that hires new and young stylists that have recently received a licence. The owner of that salon does the consult with the new stylist and customer. Periodically checks the new stylist as she is giving the cut offering tips and checking the cut. Not so at this salon. Although the stylist I had was personable and did her best, my cut was not want I wanted. I am not giving the young stylist a poor rating, she needs experience, structure, and mentoring. My less- than- pleased rating is directed to the owner and senior staff that should have checked on the process and make recommendations.

Only did a two star because she was friendly the first time around. So I had beautiful long hair to my butt crack but I had been growing up for 5 years. I went in for a cut noticed the person was young, she told me to trust her so I did and I wish I would have trusted myself more. I asked for a trim in the shape of a u at the bottom of my hair and long layers and a face framing. The first time she gave me one long layer took an after picture I gave her the money in a nice tip and I didn't really look at the picture until I left and people were telling me it didn't look right. So I went back she seemed nice enough to offer to try to fix it but she wasn't as talkative when I went back just an hour later. Absolutely love it here, my hairstylist Ava does an amazing job every time, I always recommend her to everyone I know.

It was a very good place to get a haircut. Very friendly and a good place that doesn't cost a fortune to have a hair cut.
