The Shabby to Chic Salon

Today was such an emotional moment for me—cutting 15 inches to donate to children with cancer. My hairdresser, Allison made it even more special. She understood how important this was and handled everything with so much compassion and encouragement. She didn’t just give me a haircut—she helped me be part of something bigger. I’m beyond thankful for her kindness and skill.

The pictures attached show what I asked for versus what I ended up with. I wouldn’t recommend this salon. Julie did my hair and on top of the horrible result, she was very rough when brushing/dying/styling my hair. They also refused to give me any kind of refund, and wanted to charge me AGAIN to fix it. I had already paid them $220. It was my first time going because I had just moved to Milton and was looking for a new salon, but I won’t be going back. 🙂 I can’t speak for any of the other stylists there, because they may do great work. But go at your own risk. Edit to reply to their response below (since I can’t directly reply): I was not in the salon for 4 hours. My appointment was at 1:30pm and I was out of there by 3:45pm. I know this because I had a birthday dinner planned at 4:30. I

My special needs two year old had a great time having his first salon haircut here! All the ladies were attentive and super sweet with him. He was so happy he was even dancing while leaving the shop.

Julie is a great stylist and color specialist. She is up on new fashion and makes my hair look fabulous. I’ve been going to her for 1 year and 4 months.

My daughter has been growing her hair since 2020 to donate to locks of love. I scheduled her appointment with Ashton. This was our first time coming to this Salon and our experience was wonderful. My daughter had previously had a bad experience with a stylist in Georgia who butchered her hair. Ashton made sure she knew everything that was going to happen ahead of time, made no cuts without verifying with my daughter first and making sure she was completely comfortable. My daughter opted for a partial highlight and the results are beautiful. We walked out with 16” of hair to donate and my daughtef still has beautiful medium length hair with sun kissed blonde accents. Ashton was really amazing and I appreciate her kindness and skill.
