The SALON by InStyle Inside JCPenney

In November of last year I met a wonderful stylist and wanted to continue going to her. I was scheduled to have an appointment with her tomorrow. When I received a reminder call today they had me with someone else. When I asked for "my stylist" I was told she's busy and that she scheduled me with someone else. I can understand if she had an emergency but to hand me over to someone I dont know and have the receptionist tell me she's busy is highly unprofessional. And if you bumped me for someone else, that's just lousy.

Terrible, I would choose zero stars if I could. I walked in there for a simple hair trim and was talked into getting a shampoo as it was included in the price for 35 dollars or 45 for a simple wash dry and trim, so I figured if I was paying all that for a simple trim I mys we’ll just get the shampoo, even though I just washed my hair. I had an older guy and he completely got water into my ear like guzzled it. Was ruff with washing my head and when we attempted to try the trim he about choked me with the cloth, and by this point I had enough! And left would Not recommend at all! Should have trusted my gut when I walked in !

I’ve been a customer of panties on and off for over 30 years. I’ve always gotten a beautiful job one time a newer hairstylist forgot to set the color in my hair and it all rinsed out, but that didn’t even bother me so much. She was new and learning this last time that I went I asked that she trim my hair. I wanted to keep the length but I needed a good trimming. She’s not trim my hair at all and the wash was like she slapped the shampoo on and rinsed it right off and did the same with the conditioner within a minute I was done with shampoo and conditioning. I’m just not happy with this hair trim at all this time and I had scheduled for with another person that happened to be a less expensive and they switched it to a woman that charged me more and I wasn’t so worried about the price change

Jeanie is great and my hair cut is fine but I was charger $20 for "eye brow shaping" when all they did was wax between my eye brows. Nothing underneath. No actual shaping. $20 is outrageous!!!!!

I was shopping in the store & an employee named Judy asked if I would like a haircut for 20% off..I needed one and said "yes" and should of asked "how much" ? I paid $25 for color touch up and $55 for a haircut & blow dry, way too much for a trim. I paid $69 plus tip and will not be going back. I'm on a fixed income and my hair doesn't look any different except for the color which is darker than I would of chose..
