The Sacred Self

I have experienced bodywork and astrology related work with Diana Mains at the Sacred Self, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. She has a gentle, calm manner that puts you right at ease, and her massage work is so relieving on tired, aching bodies. Her insights into our spirituality through the various astrological work she does really help one in setting new courses in life as needed. Diana is a true healer in every sense of the word.

We all deserve the peace and relaxation that Diana Mains/The Sacred Self so wonderfully provides. Diana is a skilled massage therapist, and also the most kind and compassionate human being. Her space is warm and inviting, not cold and clinical. After a massage from Diana, I feel like I’ve been on a relaxing retreat and I always leave there feeling revived, but at peace, both physically and mentally. And who doesn’t need that?! I encourage you to leave your hectic world behind for a hour or two and treat yourself to some “you” time with Diana. I’ve been around a lot of years and had many massages in my day, but Diana has provided me more relief, both physically AND mentally, than any one else. I eagerly look forward to my next appointment. I can’t recommend her more highly.

I am so lucky to live so close to the Sacred Self here in Cornish. Diana- the owner is an extremely talented massage therapist. She is so intuitive to what I need done that I always leave feeling physically and mentally relaxed. Recently my schedule was not working to fit in with Diana and she recommended that another therapist at the center, Marine would be a good fit for me. Marine was great. I loved that she included light stretching to be able to give a deeper massage without it being painful. I already can't wait for my next appointment with her.

It’s hard to put into words what I feel when I walk into The Sacred Self. It’s calming, powerful, magical, healing. Because of my work schedule I can’t get to all the sessions and classes that I’d like to. I mainly see Diana for massage therapy-which I credit for keeping me healthy in both body and mind. She is amazingly intuitive and I benefit immensely. I really wish that I was able to attend every yoga class and all the amazing healing sessions there. The content of the sessions plus the healing environment can’t be beat in my opinion. As a bonus-there are some amazing locally crafted items for sale there too-really great when you need a thoughtful gift. Highly recommend The Sacred Self!
