THE ROOM

I dont get my haircut often for so many reasons.. Couldn't find a salon I liked, I'm very fidgety and just kept putting it off and I usually don't like the haircut. I can say I've finally found my salon! I absolutely loved my haircut from Nina and felt beautiful all weekend. She was friendly and easy to talk to. The stylists at The Room are laid back and the decor is different from other places I've been. Very cool looking. I will definitely be returning.

I visited the room for the first time recently! I moved to Marlbrough a few months ago but honestly ive been looking for a new stylist for years. Liv met me at the door and welcomed me in. We discussed what I was looking to do and she was able to bring me from bright blonde highlights back to natural brown in one process. She also gave me a great haircut with layers as my hair is very thick. Liv was sociable and warm and the salon was clean and bright. Liv doesn't work with an assistant and doesn't double book herself. Looking forward to many more visits to the room!

Was in town for my brother's wedding, and until the week before the event I totally forgot that I would need makeup and a haircut!! (I don't usually do any of these things often, if at all :P) Sent them a message via their website form and was surprised how responsive they were! I wanted to make sure they had time that Saturday morning before the wedding since I was coming from out of town, shared with them what I thought I needed and asked them if I needed more, sent them a photo of the mess I am in so they knew what to expect.... not only were they responsive (kind and professional) before the event (I needed help with what to select on their website for the appointment), but the day of when I met Nina in person, she was very patient, listened to my concerns, gave great suggestions, and

I brought the wrong bleach kit box. A reason issue, that I overlapped bleach at home that was 36 volumes that causes breakage if I used the wrong level of developer. It's supposed to be 10 volumes for bleaching my hair then after 3 days later to dye the SEMI-PERMANENT Lunar Tide color. My hair was totally damaged. Yesterday, I drive to the Room - A Beauty Lounge salon in Marlborough, Mass about 25 - 30 mins. The hairdresser was cutting/shaving a whole of my hair. She recommended K18 treatment to prevent breakage. I learned a lesson that I never never never bleaching my hair by myself. Tomorrow, the same amazing hairdresser will dye my hair. After few days, I will go to the barbershop for line up and design styles on the bottom and sideburns, that I paid and confirm appointment.

I LOVE THE ROOM! I see Candice who is hilarious and always makes me feel good. She always achieves the blonde color (icy) that I want and I am never disappointed. At this point, I usually just let her do whatever she thinks is best. She is truly gifted and has a passion for hair. The salon is decorated so cute with plants and is clean. Every staff member is professional. Nina and Olivia are also wonderful hair stylists. Their prices are a great value and they care about their customers. Great business!
