The Novel Narwhal

I was so excited for our town to have an indie owned bookstore again! :) The location at The Market in Roanoke was perfect & adorable, and the Novel Narwhal managed to have a great variety of books in their space. I found something for my kiddo and me right away & even grabbed a few stickers that I had to have. I also love seeing them at local events like the Roanoke Writer’s Conference, it’s wonderful seeing a local business out in the community.

Love love love The Novel Narwhal. It is such a cute bookstore with the best selection diverse set of books. And tons of fun kid books!! My nieces and nephew were so excited about the fun finds! On top of that the owners are amazing and have an amazing silent book club. I would highly recommend this local bookshop to others!

Novel Narwhal has a diverse, well-curated collection of high-interest books for all ages! They have a small collection in store (they have a unique set up in store that features booths from many small business-very fun to shop there!) In addition, you can order from a much wider selection of print and audiobooks from their web store. The owners are so nice—follow the store on social media to find out about their pop up events and silent book club (my favorite).

This place is amazing!! The owners truly care about their customers, what they might enjoy, and how to best help them. Our kids especially enjoy all the books they've read from the Novel Narwhal.
