The Nordic Mermaid

Loved every minute of it! We often seek out different cultural wellness practices and a Scandinavian way sounded right up our alley! Communication was smooth, quick and easy to book our simultaneous appointments before our flight home. Located in a peaceful, private suite near the airport, it’s easy to feel completely catered to. Everything is so carefully sanitized, laid out and prepared for services. Tonya guided the experience for the two of us. We found her warm, personable and very hospitable, but don’t be fooled. Her touch will be whatever is needed from the lightest sweep to deepest knead. She’s fantastic! You can tell she loves what she does and the mission of her work. Tonya was a warm and welcoming introduction to the realm of the Nordic Mermaid. A private sauna / plunge room was soothing and spotlessly clean. The infrared modality was my first and I appreciated Tonya's explanation and reading material re its benefits. Followed by a lovely massage, I felt very much a homecoming back to my body and my senses...just what the doctor ordered especially at this hectic time of year. Highly recommend!

Booked a Nordic experience with the massage and sauna/plunge combo…. Let me tell you just book it. It was the most relaxing experience with the sweetest and most knowledgeable person! Deb really worked out all the knots and stiffness in my muscles! Wonderful first experience will be back again for sure!

What a great addition to our annual MV trip. It’s only been a few hours since leaving the cold plunge/sauna and we can feel the difference in our bodies and minds. Highly recommend trying this, and the Nordic Mermaid is the perfect spot.

Had the most amazing time doing cold plunge here with Tonya. She coached me through three rounds. The sauna is sooo nice. Everything is clean and lovely and they are passionate and welcoming. A must go!
