The Noble Root Salon

Wonderful experience. My experience of being a man with long hair is that I don't really know what I'm doing most of the time, but Gabi was completely non-judgemental and gently guided me to a result that was a lot more impressive than I could have pictured when I first walked in the door. The overall atmosphere was a treat and I felt welcomed and at home almost immediately. I also appreciate a business that is willing to invest in a location in the walkable downtown area rather than requiring you to drive to the Stillwater Ave/Hogan Rd strip mall and big-box corridor. I thought the price was completely fair for the high standard of service and I definitely plan to become a returning customer.

I recently moved to Hampden and was in need of a new stylist. I made an appointment at Noble Root. It was super easy to book and I got A next day appointment with a newer stylist named Gabi. She spent a lot of time talking to me and figuring out what I wanted And what would look best. She made me feel comfortable and like she was really listening. I could not be happier with the cut and color. I am so relieved to have found a new stylist!

I always get my haircuts here and they never disappoint. All of the staff are so welcoming and friendly. Gabi gave me the exact haircut I wanted and was so incredibly kind❤️ she is also so talented at cutting bangs which can be tricky to get right but she did it perfectly!

I have been coming to this salon for years, and I trust them above anyone else with my hair. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and maintains the highest level of professionalism. What truly sets this salon apart is how his expertise trickles down to the entire team; every staff member does a fantastic job following his lead. You can tell they take pride in their work. Highly recommended!

My wife, my son, and I got our hair cut recently at The Noble Root. It was my son’s first haircut, the stylist did an excellent job, and we generally enjoyed the experience. The problem was the bill. When my wife scheduled the appointment, the individual whom she spoke to failed to disclose that they do not offer reduced pricing for children. While it was my son’s first haircut, he was very well behaved and didn’t move around much. We were very proud of him. That being said, he was in the chair all of 10-15 minutes. $60 is steep for a 15 minute basic child’s cut. They should have disclosed their policy when we scheduled the appointment. The more that we thought about it, the more we were upset about the lack of disclosure offered with respect to pricing (especially for children).
