The New Place Nails

I see complaints about Tammy in other comments so I am disappointed to report she still works there. She was incredibly rude, openly gossips about customers, and did a poor job overall. I literally came back because the woman who helped me last time was so kind and thorough that I wanted to only go to this salon, now I want to warn everyone. Tammy was on her phone for a good portion of the time, changing music or whatever. She was not attentive and didn't allow me to wash my hands, nor did she ask if I wanted a trim and became visibly annoyed when I paused her to request one. The nail dust stuff ended up getting sealed to beneath my nails because of how she cleaned them. She then proceeded tocut my cuticle so bad that it caused me to bleed profusely for hours after. Ken is amazing!!! Each time I have gone I have gotten him. I will definitely be requesting him going forward. He is quick and efficient, but still takes his time. He makes sure you like what is on your nails and listens to what you say/need/ask. You can tell he cares about his work. I have not left with nails I hate since going here! He is very good with French tips especially! He is honest if he cannot do a design and gives feedback and suggestions about what you are asking for. Prices are fair- I usually pay about $60 after tip for an acrylic fill with gel. I recommend this salon to everyone that asks, and I always get compliments on my nails!

Do NOT go here. Not unless you enjoy spending money on acrylics that fall off in less than a week and want to leave disappointed and upset. My daughter and I got acrylics for a girls day( her very first set) and she left almost in tears from the lady not even listening to her. Refused to give her a design and just painted them and called it a day. As an adult I didnt even feel comfortable. Will definitely be taking my business elsewhere wish I had never tried them.

I usually go to a salon in Beverly, MA but one of my Gel-x nails popped off after 3 weeks of wear so I went here to remove my other Gel-X and get a simple normal gel manicure to hold me over. I called ahead to see if they could remove my Gel-X and they responded by offering me an appointment time. I assumed that meant yes. However, when it came time to remove the technician struggled and it took several attempts to get it off. Once it did come off, he left all of the sticky residue under my actual nails for it to harden. I pointed it out to him and all he did was try to peel it off with his nails which ended up ripping one of my nails. As for the gel manicure - it was fine. He shaped and polished nicely but was rushing so much I started to question if the lamp was fully curing the gel. He

At first i though it was a clean good environment and was super exited to get my nails done for my 21st bday, then i was passed from person to person (4 people to do my nails). i asked for a design and said if it cant be done i can do a solid color because they had to look good for an event. The tech tammy said she could do it and that was definitely not the case. $82 before tip and i got nails that looked nothing like the picture and now im spending the night before my 21st fixing them to solid color to avoid embarrassment when i go out tomorrow.
