MDI Islander published a very hurtful article about my mom's health issue. Jennifer Osborn should be ashamed of herself. We shouldn't not be taking people's personal health issues and turning them into tabloid types stories. MDI Islander allowed the article they published to be on social media with a comment section that only allowed people to post hateful words and personal media information for the entire world to see. With an aging population in Maine and more people ending up with health issues due to being older, this isn't how we should treat our elders by allowing social media to be a place where people can comment hurtful things about that person. We saw this with Biden and even to some extent Trump, allowing folks to jump on someone's health issue like we're bullies at the playgro
