Tamara always greets me with a smile and a hug! You can tell that she loves what she does and she does it well. People travel to her from all over the country. Lucky for me, I drive a little less than 2 hours. There is never a dull moment with her! We always have meaningful conversations with laughter sprinkled around. I feel lucky to have found her 💕

Yesterday’s hair appointment was nothing short of an experience for the soul. From the moment I walked in, I was wrapped in a space that was visually beautiful, deeply calming, and intentionally designed to help you exhale and simply be. The atmosphere felt warm, welcoming, and full of genuine care. My stylist herself was just as lovely as the space—kind, attentive, and truly present. She listened so carefully to what I wanted, asked thoughtful questions, and made me feel completely understood. Watching her work was like watching an artist in her element. The way she blended the colors was seamless and stunning, creating a result that feels both beautiful and authentically me. Tamara is amazing at what she does. I regularly see her for maintenance on my locs and I trust her to always take care of me and my hair. She has also installed loc extensions for me for my undercut which I grew out just for that. Her spa services are also more than worth it.

I have never been very comfortable in salons and sometimes used to just cut my own hair, but I absolutely love visiting Tamara at her Moon Sage Studio! Tamara is a great conversationalist and can have an engaging discussion about anything under the sun as she tidies up my dreads. She is kind and thoughtful, and that shows through her space. The studio is designed around art and nature, and she has probably everything you could need or want for your dreads and dread experience. Tamara also knows her stuff and is an expert in the realm of dreads and hair as a whole. I’m so glad Tamara created my first dreads, and I look forward to many more visits to the Moon Sage Studio!

Absolutely wonderful. Tamara is such a lovely human who I love speaking to and with. She is so skilled and so quick! I book dread cleanups regularly because she’s so swift. And her studio is beautiful.
