The Merciful Hands

Treated myself to a much needed massage today and I don’t even know where to begin, because this wasn’t just a massage, it was a healing in the most literal sense. 🥹 I went to see Mercy at The Merciful Hands, and I can say without exaggeration that it was the best massage of my life. (And I've only ever had like 3 of them in 32 years)Mercy is a 2x breast cancer survivor, and she carries that lived experience into her practice in the most profound way. I had Mercy as a student in our massage program and I was grateful to turn class over to her a few times because she was so knowledgable in oncology massage and lymphatic drainage that I knew other students (and myself!) would get more from her leading class. She has excellent leadership skills as an instructor/presenter while simultaneously creating a container for students to have their own experiences to let the material really sink in and become their own. Her dedication to her craft and to her own healing were apparent from the moment I met her. I was lucky enough to visit her in clinic for a few lymphatic drainage sessions and it helped fundamentally shift some of the ways I think about bodywork and my own healing. I felt incredible after! If you’re looking for a quality massage by someone who has absolutely mastered their craft, look no further. Mercy is not only a professional but she genuinely cares about your experience and results. She has reasonable rates and communication is quick and effortless. She’s helped me immensely and will not be going anywhere else. You will not be disappointed. Getting what you pay for doesn’t seem to be the norm these days but I guarantee you will walk away from your experience with Merciful Hands feeling satisfied in every way. The Merciful Hands is truly the best massage I’ve ever had. Mercy is intuitive, she not only listens to your verbal concerns and cues but she has an amazing talent for being in tune to her client’s body. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia almost 10 years ago. I’ve never had more than a relaxation massage, however Mercy has been able to calm trigger points to where they do not react to touch and she is able to work more things out. More than that, I’ve also let go of some trauma through reiki and released some lymphatic drainage issues with a lymphatic massage. Don’t pass her by just because she’s not at a super fancy spa. This is life changing massage, y’all!

Mercy is absolutely incredible. She really is the best in the business. I just got back from vacation and after driving for an extended period of time my neck and back hurt so badly. She was able to relieve that pain by the end of the session. I have also had a terrible migraine that had lingered on for over three days... within ten minutes it was gone. She really does work miracles. I loved the hot towels and the bamboo. She incorporated hot stones which was such a great bonus that really made a difference. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone and everyone. I wish that I could give her TEN STARS!! She is worth every penny. Thank you so much Mercy, you are amazing!!
