The Merchant Barbershop

We have been coming to Bo at The Merchant for a year and have had nothing but great experiences. The professionalism of the shop as a whole is much appreciated. Bo takes great care of my son, he is so patient and kind. My son looks forward to his fresh cuts and growing up with this shop and their very talented staff!

We started going to this shop because of Corey, who we absolutely love. He cuts my son’s hair perfectly every single time. Unfortunately, sometimes we need a last-minute haircut and Corey doesn’t have an opening. Because of that, we tried Charles. He cut my hair okay, but we still prefer Corey. Back in August, I took my son to Charles for a haircut, and he completely messed up my son’s hairline, it was crooked. Today, the day before Thanksgiving, Corey was booked (bummer), so I made an appointment with Charles via text. About an hour before the appointment, my son refused to go because, in his words, “last time he made my line crooked.” He’s 8, and honestly, I don’t blame him. I texted Charles to cancel and explained my son didn’t want a haircut. He replied saying he wouldn’t book us aga

Done by Charles. He was nice enough to give us a discount cut but my son’s hair is in layers now. It’s all different lengths. The back is short and the front is long, the sides are each different lengths. There are random long strands of hair scattered around his head. We’re grateful he gave us an affordable haircut but this is extremely disheartening. We’ve spent years growing his hair just to now have to cut it all off to make it even. 💔

Really good vibe here at this barbershop, everyone seems so excited to be there. I’m greeted by strangers with handshakes and smiles, and asked if I wanted anything to drink. I get my haircut by Matt, he’s been a great barber to me. He’s punctual, has good conversation and has great hospitality. Always starts his days early so I can get a haircut without interrupting my schedule. I highly recommend anyone to get their haircut here.

The Merchant is an awesome barbershop with the most skilled barbers. Everyone there is cool to talk to and the environment is fun and chill. I personally get my haircuts from Matt Beckman. He does a great job at nailing what you’re looking for. He also cuts my 5 year olds hair. Great with kids and super chill to talk to. I’ve been to almost every barbershop in town and I highly recommend this one!
