Tanya Spangler has been an absolute life saver for me! She’s so easy to work with has done a wonderful job with my shoulder!

My wife and I went here as part of our honeymoon and it was amazing. This was a nice little gem to find right here in Richmond. They have way better pricing than any other Spa. An hour massage was only $75. Plus it is a very nice venue compared to other more expensive ones I’ve been to. I recommend Mckaelyn Fields she did a great job and was very knowledgeable. They actually do alot of holistic healing and have great add on options, and they’re open on weekends. The only bad thing I would say is the website says they are closed on Saturdays but I was still able to book an appointment on Saturday. Other than that 5 stars, we got the healing and relaxation our bodies desperately needed we will definitely be back!

Let me first start by saying that Sara is FANTASTIC at what she does. As someone who had never had a massage before, when I went to The Massagery for the first time I wasn’t totally sure what to expect. Sara made me feel extremely comfortable and talked me through the process making sure she was focusing on the right areas and using pressure that was comfortable for me. I now regularly see Sara and always leave feeling so relaxed. I HIGHLY recommend booking with Sara or one of her other talented employees, you will not regret it!

Every part of my experience at the Massagery with Sara Johnson was amazing! Just walking into the office made me feel relaxed and comfortable. She is so sweet and you know you are, literally, in great hands! She used the perfect amount of pressure to work my knots out and relieve tension! I will definitely be making more frequent trips here!!

Sara brings a unique perspective on bodywork given her degrees in athletic training and exercise science. I attribute her nuanced approach to why each session with her brought results in pain relief and mobility. I am proud to recommend her to my friends and patients.
