The Maple Barbers

My son has been coming to this shop for years. A couple weeks ago I received a confirmation email for his scheduled appointment but noticed it was now with a different barber. I immediately canceled it and messaged our normal barber. He let me know he was no longer there but got my son in at his new spot. Terrible way to do business. I should of been made aware that my barber was no longer there and given the choice to keep the appt or not. Instead, it felt like the business was hoping I didn't see the name switch and show up. It felt slimy. *I never stated parting ways with a barber was slimy. I stated the way our appointment was handled felt slimy.

We were back today for my son's second haircut here. Drey did a fantastic job again. It was also just an overall fun experience! Great conversation and a lot of laughs. We will be back!

I never leave a review anywhere but this one felt needed. I've never gotten a worse beard lineup in my life. The haircut was okay nothing special but the beard lineup by the barber had to be the first lineup of his life because it was GARBAGE! Not only did he mess up the lineup so bad that I had to make him remove my whole beard, but he also told me the reason he couldn't line it up correctly is because one side of my face is fatter than the other. I'm sorry but how has every other barber and I lined it up perfectly fine for the last 15 years but only you seemed to struggle because one side was "fat". Extremely unprofessional and very disappointed - would not recommend anyone to go waste $60 here for a haircut or beard trim.

Spent $48 for one of the worst haircuts I've gotten. The barber went pretty quick getting the cut done, about 15 minutes or so. In the mirror it looked fine. But when I got home, the fade was extremely messy, and I had to do a good deal of cleaning it up. I'd rather go to Great Clips next time. TO OWNER: I believe he was the second chair in the shop on 10/17.

I was told after everything was done that they only were accepting CashApp or Venmo for payment but their website doesn't say anything about that and also I've been here a few times in the past couple years and didn't have any problems paying with my debit card. I don't care if they have preferences on how they want their payment, but I find it extremely unprofessional for them to drop that kind of bomb on a customer after they get done. Will not be coming back, I don't deal with shady things like that.
