When I moved to Rochester I had to look for a hair salon and was overwhelmed by so many options. But then I made an appointment at the Lyndon R. Huttemann and I was so happy with the results! As a Hispanic with curly hair, I always feel a bit apprehensive when trying new places. Not here. Lyndon really listens to you and talks about options. The quality of his work is outstanding. My curly hair looks fabulous with magenta highlights! Also, the place is wonderful and has a lot of history. You all need to ask about its connection with the Seven Sutherland Sisters. Lyndon is a magician. I’ve gone to see Lyndon for over twenty years and not only does he keep with the times in regards to hair styles and product, he and his staff teach you what to do and what not to. The consultation is amazing. I have changed my vibe up so so many times by telling him to go at it. No instruction. I have LOVED every cut and color. The building is historic, which is cool. What’s cooler is the decor along the huge wrap around porch and continues as you walk in. Inside music is seemingly always playing something I love or something I learn that day. Lyndon has done my hair for 4-5 years and I would never go to anyone else now. He’s truly a master at his craft. From color to cuts, he’s helped me grow out my pixie without ever making it look awkward.

Lyndon is hair Yoda and has been a stress free, wonderful never fail to be thrilled experience since I was 16yrs old. He has seen me through every color of the rainbow of hair and each time I leave feeling more educated about my hair, how it works and how to care for it. His product recommendations are also a never fail for my ultra fine easy to weigh down tresses.

This is the ONLY place I go for a great haircut, color, highlights and lowlights and everything in between. Krista and Lyndon make it feel like you are at home, with friends, while getting the best looking YOU, you've ever experienced!
