Reliably good. Expertise does depend on who you get. I’ve been using this salon since 2018, everything from nails to makeup to hair to wedding up do. Generally friendly and kind stylists who take their time, never felt rushed here. Price is great. A bit older fashioned, but I have tried other salons and predictably come back every time.

Personally would never do business with someone who talks to a mother grieving at the fact she has to leave her infant son to work instead of be a stay at home mom. Gross behavior.

⭐ 0/5 – Dishonest Service and Disrespectful Follow-Up I booked my wife with Emilee Farrens at The Look in Columbia for a bleach and brown underneath service. We paid $200 plus a $40 tip expecting a professional result. At the end of the appointment, Emilee told my wife she’d need to come back to finish the look because there were darker streaks that didn’t lift properly. We appreciated her honesty at the time and agreed to reschedule. Fast forward 9 days: my wife confirms the follow-up, and I simply ask what the cost will be. Emilee then responds with a quote for “no more than $160” to fix what she already acknowledged she didn’t finish. Trying to charge nearly full price again for a correction is not only unprofessional, it’s unethical. We weren’t asking for something free just for the
