I want to thank Koy for being patient with me and changing my mind about going to the salon for hair services. I had a lot of bad experiences with different salons and I decided that I would do my own hair until I find the right stylist that understands what quality services means. She met my expectations and some. I really appreciate how she listen and asked questions then executed. My daughter is tender headed but Koy was very thorough and gentle with her hair. My daughter slept through the session. Myself, I talked her head off through my service and didn’t realize she was done with my coils. I have sensitive skin and tender headed as well, but Koy wasn’t rough with my 4c hair and she even extended her services with her hair care products that’s homemade with natural ingredients to help

I have been going to The Koy Effect for almost 8 years. She is always consistent, professional, and does an amazing job on my hair. She has even been effective in helping my hair to regrow when I had stress related alopecia. She has always taken care of my natural hair, weaves, and braids. She can literally do it all and truly takes care of your hair. My curl pattern is popping even after she does a silk press which speaks volumes. I have referred friends and family to her over the years and they all love how she takes care of their hair. I also love that she never has me in the salon all day, she respects my time and makes sure she gets me in and out everytime. I highly recommend her services.

Ok so I usually don't go to the salon to get my hair done because I'm always disappointed and end up fixing it myself when I get home but I must say that I'm beyond satisfied with my service from Koy. The silk press I received was AMAZING!!!!! Top tier! Hair was gone with the wind gorgeous! I've also received a quickweave from her and loved it as well. She really cares about the health of your hair. And that I can appreciate! 10/10, highly recommend!
