The K nail art

i got my nails done with Tom and did a valentine’s day design! Played calm music during appointment & was very nice. i loved my nails and price was fair, i definitely recommend to anyone who loves getting different designs and styles, looking forward to my fill.

So I was referred here by someone who said the men nail techs do great designs! I schedule an appointment arrive 5 minutes early. I am meet with attitude and asked what my budget was. I said I don’t have one. Then after being asked 3 times I said $120 for nails I guess, excluding the pedicure I had scheduled. Then he said he can’t help me with that budget. I’m like ummmm ooookkkkk!! Guess they dont want business. So I left smh.

Jay has done some of the best nails I’ve had since I moved from Las Vegas. The first set was a picture taken after a week 1/2 of being on and they are still solid. Show him a picture of what you want and he will deliver! Prices are very reasonable considering the time he takes to design. My favorite thing about his work is that he gets the shape down perfectly. I hate when you look at the set a few days later and realize one nail looks crazy, but that doesn’t happen with Jay. The salon he works out of here isn’t the prettiest …and it’s further from my house but his work is the best I’ve had so far so it’s worth the drive for me.

I started seeing Tom this year after being recommended to him over 3 years ago. He has consistently provided me with the best nails I’ve had in Tampa Bay (been here for 8 years). He is INCREDIBLE at designs and shape. I get long stiletto and am very particular about their look. They last 3+ weeks without break, tear, or dullness. The salon itself is clean and always has a variety of relaxing music.

the nails came out beautifully, i had come here once before and gotten a plain nude med-long set for $60, which was incredibly reasonable. however, the second time i came in for a fill it was the same $60 price JUST FOR A FILL and i was only in there for about 35 min... if i had known it would’ve been the same price i would’ve gotten a whole new set :/ kinda disappointed… probably won’t be returning
