I have been coming the hive for years and will continue to, I just love it there. I've gone through being a loose natural, doing my own styles, locs, and scalp care when I shaved it. I'm so proud of my black owned beauty supply! Happy Black History Month Yall!!

This happened on Monday 29 2025. I came in around 638 ish . The store closes at 7pm. I knew exactly what I needed. I was greeted I asked for a relaxer behind counter. There were 2 women behind the counter. As I walked to the back to get a black rinse I heard a lady say (yeah she coming in here last minute to get this Texturizer) I was bothered by that because I pasted 5 hair stores I just thought since this store is in my neighborhood Las Colinas that I could stop there. In business you just don’t make rude comments like that. As a black woman I wanted to support a black owed store. As black women we need to work on how we treat ppl , I’m a customer buying a product before store hours . Every dollar counts when you’re running a business, customer service is everything. I loved this store

I am so glad to have found a Black owned beauty supply store!! My barber initially told me about this place and I’m mad it took me so long to shop here, LOL, SMH! I’ve been here a few times and it’s become my go to beauty supply store!! They recommended a product and it’s been a game changer for my hair. When I asked if they carried a particular hair gel, they didn’t have it in stock but they contacted the owner and she was able to get it for me the next day!! This is excellent customer service. I can tell they value and appreciate each customer that comes through the door from the friendly and welcoming greeting to offering recommendations and even getting items in stock that you purchase!! If you want to shop a business that values you as a customer this is your place!!
