The Herbal Nail Spa - Bellevue

Went in today to get my acrylics/tips removed then get builder gel on my natural nails. I booked online for an acrylic removal and builder gel to ensure there was enough time for both services. The girl who did my service was nice, but when removing my acrylic kept buffing and buffing, then taking the nail file and tool to scrape off everything where it was uncomfortable on my nail beds. She did soak in acetone but the continuing scraping was uncomfortable since the acetone wasnt left on for enough time, only about five mins or so. When it came to painting my nails, she was receptive to my feedback when asking her to fix the shape as multiple fingers weren’t straight. I had an outstanding experience at Herbal Nail Spa in Bellevue. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by how welcoming and professional the staff was. The entire team goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable, and the customer service is truly excellent. Ellie, in particular, is incredible. She is attentive, patient, and makes sure you are happy with every detail of your visit. The spa itself is spotless and beautifully maintained. Everything feels fresh and organized, which immediately puts you at ease. You can tell that cleanliness and safety are top priorities here, which makes a big difference compared to many other places. As for the results, I could not be happier. Ellie takes her time to ensure the finish is flawless, and my nails looked perfect when she was done.

Based on other reviews and my experience it’s clear that this salon does not have experience with acrylics. Or at least Nancy who did my nails did not. She drilled over my cuticles and skin not just once but 4 TIMES. So much so that multiple of my nails were bleeding, now I am worried that I will get an infection. On top of that she seemed to be in a rush, the nails lack structure - theres no apex and the nails are thick. Would NOT recommend this place. But customer seems was nice and gave me half off.

I’ve been coming to this salon for about 5 months now, getting my nails done by Nancy, and she just does an amazing job every time! She’s amazing.

Jay is my favorite nail tech! I first discovered her in Renton, and when she switched locations, I was so glad she did. She’s incredibly attentive and truly cares about your nails, always making sure you leave satisfied. She’s so good that she has a waitlist now! Jay works Thursday through Sunday — I just wish she was available during the week because she’s always booked. Definitely request Jay — she’s the best, and you’ll never leave the salon unhappy. The owners are also wonderful. They’re attentive and genuinely care about the well-being of both their staff and clients. I once had a payment issue at the Renton location, and the owner resolved it quickly. I really appreciate his great customer service. His wife, who occasionally works at the salon, is also super talented with nail desig
