The Handmaiden Nail Spa

I had the most amazing experience with Fiona! She helped me select the perfect colors for my nails and went above and beyond to create the most perfect hand painted details. My nails are not super thick, strong, and STUNNING. I would recommend her and the Handmaiden to anyone, the photos truly don't do them justice!

I’ve now been twice and had very good experiences with Fiona both times. The salon is clean, the dimmed lights are relaxing and they always have vibey music playing with something fun on the tv (last time it was travel YouTube videos but before that it was Queer Eye). Both of my dip manicures have lasted very well for 3-4 weeks, so I happily drive the 30 minutes from where I live to come here!

Fiona was amazing! It was such a lovely experience, and this was the best and most meticulous pedicure I've ever gotten from literally any other salon (and I've been to quite a few since I'm not originally from Durham). The prices are also very reasonable as well, 10/10 would recommend.

I had a hard time finding a nail salon that worked for me—all the others I've tried over the past year made my cuticles bleed and didn't follow my requests for color or design. The Handmaiden Nail Spa was the best experience I've had! I did a ManiPedi and got exactly what I asked for. The stylist took great care of me and was very patient and kind. I will definitely be coming here again.

Fiona and her team are consistently kind, talented, and just lovely people. I’m terrible about abusing my nails—nervous habits and gardening—but Handmaiden always finds a way to make them presentable and cute, while also maintaining a relaxing environment where you’ll feel totally taken care of.
