Have been here a few times and they're great. Our toddler had some issues not wanting his haircut early on and they were very patient, calming and helpful in the situation. Now he loves going there and it's like nothing. He loves the video games and fish tank etc. Great little barbershop with good haircuts and friendly staff.

Took my 1 year old son and 6 year old daughter after being disappointed by a few kids places in north Austin. They got us in right away. They were beyond amazing and professional with my kids. My daughter is very shy and the stylist had her talking and really listened to what she wanted. She even had her stand up at the end to make sure it was all even in the back. She was gentle with my one year old and faded his sides without me having to tell her. (You wouldn’t believe the number of places that don’t) overall great vibe and great experience will definitely be our go to spot.

This place is the epitome of what Community is all about. I sat and watched a group of artists full of laughter, communicating on a genuine level with everyone that walked in the door. This place is what Austin used to be all about…….to find a gem like this is rare now. Keep doing what you’re passionate about…..it flows like music here. I travel all the way from North Austin to Liberty Hill for Tim's services. This past Saturday, I waited from 10:50am (having scheduled an 11:00am appointment) to 12:40pm for my son's haircut. I cannot tell you how many terrible haircuts my son has had and only trust Tim for his esteemed services. The haircut itself doesn't take long, but he is so worth the wait considering how busy Saturdays are. I can totally appreciate the challenge that comes with patience required to deal with the wait time, however, I am truly blessed to have found The Hair Stop because it's truly a gem with amazing people. This past Saturday, I witnessed how the crew gently managed two children on the spectrum with such sincerity, ease, and humbling nurture. Every visit is humanizing and fills me with gratitude.
