The Hair Shack

I tried the Hair Shack for the first time yesterday (12/30/2025) with long and thick wavy hair that I wanted cut a little past my shoulders. I showed the stylist 4 I spoke pictures and mentioned I would like wispy bangs (like in photos) but overall I wanted her to play with my hair and have fun with it. She cut to the length I wanted and just did a blunt cut. That's it. Very basic, boring, and no bangs or face framing. Moreover, she didnt spritz my hair with water to assist herself in cutting it nor did she thin the beast. I moved on and decided to try to love it. However, upon closer inspection it turned out to be highly uneven. I had one spot in front that was very long compared to the rest of the hair. Randy and his staff are always available and ready to give me my "usual" haircut. I like that I can drop in without an appointment, and they always try to work me in. I have never had a problem, and always get fast and friendly service and a good haircut.

I went for a haircut..first time there..I had pictures and I was very clear about how much length I was willing to lose. My hair was down to my waist. I said leave it in the middle of my back..it's barely on my shoulders now! That's nowhere near what I pointed out. I'm devastated. I'll never return there. I cannot recommend this place. Also they don't take cards. It's 2024,people! Get with the times! Seriously find another place to get your hair done!

I have been going to the Hair Shack for over 10 years and have never had an issue. The owners are great people and active in the business daily.

Wendy and Randy work together as the perfect team when getting my hair cut and colored. They make me "FEEL" absolutely beautiful. Love them both dearly. They are amazing and most professional.🙏
