I really loved meeting Kara! Her salon is beautiful, authentic, and operated with lots of love! As a global leader in women’s empowerment, and resident of Sedona, I truly appreciated my experience. I brought my visiting friend to have our hair cut and styled by the Grand Hair Master Alexander Antonio. I was truly pleased with my experience. He has exceptional artistic talent and mastery of his craft, and his offerings are transformative beyond the traditional hair experience - his intuition is pure magic! I have been lucky enough to have my hair done by the amazingly talented (and overall wonderful person!) Kara La Grow for the past 15 years. There is just no equivalent out there! Even now, when I live a couple of hours away from her and her adorable, cozy and inviting salon, I make the drive without hesitation. She does a fantastic job with my long hair and highlights, and with her versatile skills has done a great job with my kids' hair as they went through different lengths and styles over the years. I am beyond thankful for Kara, her amazing work and dedication to her craft.

Kara is awesome! I desperately needed to get my hair colored and cover up the grey roots. Having blonde hair, hairdressers tend to fry my hair with chemicals. She used a gentle hair color and matched my natural hair color perfectly. She has a great personality and made me feel very much at home. I’m from San Diego and come to Sedona once a year. I will definitely return to The Hair Shack Baby.

I showed up as a walk in, desperate for help with my unhealthy, full of split ended hair. I was only in Sedona for the afternoon. Kara was able to re-shuffle her schedule to fit me in. I showed her a picture of my dream hair-do, and she made it happen. I love my new hair cut and feel. The atmosphere of Kara's salon is wonderful, same as Kara.
