The Hair Niche

I asked for a specific haircut. She suggested a different style. My hair is very fine and doesn't do anything unless I use half a can of Aqua Net and 6 different products. I said I didn't have the tools or product as I just moved and still can't find anything. I now have a Karen haircut and extra anxiety. I'm poor, I get one haircut a year (because food is important and hair just isnt) and I have to wait until October (saving up for another haircut). This is the 10th stylist that hasn't listened to what I want. She is kind and very good at what she does. She just needs to listen to her customers more. I was excited and ended up being irritated and sad.

Shannon is amazing! Her knowledge of naturally curly hair is extensive and she explains everything in clear, easy to understand ways. Finding someone who truly knows how to cut curly hair is like finding a unicorn in the wild!
