I recently came in with wanting something different and new. My stylist, Stephanie Davis and owner, and I decided to venture out of my comfort zone. After some enthusiastic discussions, we decided on a perm. New to the world of perms, not knowing what to expect, thinking I would come out the other end looking like a drowned rat. I came out with beautiful curls and gold ringlets. She was right, the perm not only added much needed volume to my fine, thin hair, it added definition. I came feeling like a new and beautiful woman. It gave me the strength I didn’t know I needed. Stephanie had a very clean and organized work station. In fact, her salon as a whole was tidy, clean, and organized. Nikki did my nails today, it was my first visit to The Nook, and these nails are gorgeous. Nikki was so nice and super professional!! I am 36 years old and this is the first time in my LIFE I have ever gotten a full set of nails and not left the salon with my fingers on fire. She didn't leave any raw spots on my fingers, and didn't burn up my cuticles/ nail beds. I'm honestly impressed and will be back to see her for all of my nails in the future. Stephanie, Nikki, Dana, & Katie are a sweet, funny, talented group of stylists. They offer hair and nail services, and I think facial waxing also. Been a customer for a few years. The salon is always very clean and decked out for the season / holidays. I think their pricing is average for a job well done, so no its not the cheapest, but an excellent value for the price.
