A wonderful experience!! Henny and Narada are absolutely lovely people whose lovely nature is only surpassed by their knowledge and skill of caring for and styling natural hair! Amazing customer service, fantastic results and positive community on the form of a salon!! Loved it!!

So I’m coming here to give a great review about my experience and got perplexed by the other reviews. Let me start off by saying I love the salon. There are no stacked appointments so you aren’t forced to wait on another client before you’re seen. Henny keeps the environment nice n safe and knows her craft very well. Now what I’m perplexed about is reading all these reviews talking about a new client consultation. Whatever it is it sounds like it’s very informative and very much needed. However, I got no new client consultation. I was asked like everybody else to pay a deposit which was $100.00, send a picture of my hair, the style I wanted, the date I wanted. All I got was a wash/shampoo/conditioner then from there Henny detangled and styled my hair. That was an almost $400 including

I have waited to write this review because I wanted to give time for them to make it right. My first appointment was great minus the cost, but I paid it because I valued her time. When it came to schedule my follow up appt is when things went left. I paid the fee to schedule an appointment and about a week before I needed to reschedule. I didn’t hear back. Now for context I am coming 10 hours away to get my hair done so logistically I need to make sure all things are in order. I continued to keep checking in via text message for about a month with no response. If you were that hard up just say so. It really saddens me that in the hair industry alone, we have the ability to build up black communities with our dollars but attitudes like this are rampant. Just me needing to drive such a dist

I have short textured hair and have been experiencing severe postpartum hair loss. I felt a lot more confident when I stepped out of his salon 💁🏾‍♀️ Narada is informative, skilled, gentle, patient…just an Afro hair master! I highly recommend him to any woman who need some TLC for her natural hair. 💗 I’ve already scheduled my next appointment.

First and foremost they are big on safety and health. Before you step into the salon the energy is safe and welcoming. I feel that is very important when you’re looking for someone to do your hair it shows you what energy will be put into your hair and how it will be treated. Secondly they clean and wipe down after every client which I love especially with it being cold and flu season. Third the amount of knowledge being shared with me before my hair was even touched showed me my hair was in the right hands. I explained what I have been doing since I cut my hair a year and some months ago (big chop), only knotless braids with occasional twists with hair added, and recently adding texturizer to my hair.
