I booked a mobile makeup service with The Glam Bar for my engagement photo shoot on Oct 19th, and I’m honestly devastated by my experience. After receiving a confirmation email, I reached out a day before to confirm the exact location details, but no one ever replied. I assumed everything was still on track since I had a confirmation, so I got up early and prepared for the appointment. When the appointment time came, no one showed up. I immediately sent another message, hoping there was just a mix up or delay, but I never heard back, not that morning, not the next morning. No apology, no explanation, nothing. Inette is a talented makeup artist and hairstylist who helped me feel confident preparing for my boudoir photo shoot! I highly recommend you book her for her expertise and thoughtful personality. Inette listened me explaining the look I was hoping for and she translated it into a look better than my wedding day! She created a smoky eye that made my eyes pop, matched foundation to my skin tone PERFECTLY, and applied a lip color that stayed put for 12 hours (no matter what I ate or drank). She provided complimentary drinks and extra lip color for me to reapply throughout the day. She styled my straight hair in loose, sexy waves that stayed curly all day!!! Inette was incredible! Also the Glam Bar is such a gorgeous place to get dolled up in. I showed Inette my inspo pics and she helped me decide the best one - she “understood the assignment” and seriously did the best makeup job I have ever had. I’ve never felt (a) so pretty or (b) actually heard and understood by an artist. She did exactly what I wanted but better. HIGHLY recommend and will definitely be returning.

We mutually parted ways 10 days before my wedding. This review is solely about Inette’s bridal makeup services. Why it didn’t work out: She called to tell me to “check myself and my tone,” saying I was rude. She won’t work with planners directly and asked for a 1:1 call where she proceeded to tell me to check myself. I left the call in tears. I asked to move my start time from 11am to 9am based on feedback from my planner. Inette said she had booked another client before me and couldn’t confirm if she could accommodate the change but had to check. This was unsettling however I understand it is her business to run. She charges $25 for any invoice changes. When I requested the time change, said she would charge the card on file. She’s up front about this fee however it feels like you’re
