The Faded Life Barbershop

Had Tim as my barber. He was friendly and asked how I wanted my hair. When I started telling him, he cut me off and told me to wait a minute. He then walked outside for a couple of minutes. Then walked back in and started cutting my hair. He was speed cutting, letting my hair fall in front of my face going in my nose and mouth. I started choking on my hair it was so bad. He gets done, twirls my chair around, I look up and see him video recording me. He shows me the video quickly and says he's done. He handed my coat to me and I asked him how much, $55. I about fell on the floor when I heard he charged that much. I was waiting for my change, he owed me $5. He kept mumbling under his breath. I figured he was trying to get me to tip him. Jessie is the best barber in Augusta! He has been cutting my hair for five years, always top notch. Entire staff is friendly and just all around good people. Highly recommend you give these guys a stop by for a fire fade!!

Tim is absolutely PHENOMENAL. I’ve been having him cut my hair and my kids hair for years. Everyone else in the shop is kind an always laughing and keeping a pleasant atmosphere. Vibe check is on point.

The service in this establishment was great. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. However, the haircut I received was not what I asked for. I went in and asked for a quick simple haircut and nothing more. I requested a 1/2 mid fade and requested the barber to use a 1 to do the fade but not use it to bring it all the way up. I received a high fade right away without having time to say it’s not what I wanted. Also lined my hair line, pushing my already receding hair line further back and doing some weird backwards 5 shape on the side line. Additionally, he trimmed my eyebrows, shaved my facial hair, and trimmed my mustache. All of which I did not request.
