The Fade District

Made a last minute appointment for my 3yo with Ricardo who was a very nice guy. Barber shop was clean and busy; barbers seemed friendly with all clients. There were 4 walk ins and all of them were helped faster. Ricardo did a good job on my son's hair, he heard what I wanted and did a nice fade hair cut on my boy. I am putting 4 stars to this place only because they receive cash only (I wish they would have told me that when I made the appointment) so I had to spend $3 for their ATM on top of the $30 ($25 hair cut + $5 tip) that I paid for the service.

Just had one of the best haircuts I’ve ever gotten in LA, and it’s all thanks to Ricardo. He’s does very well and listened to exactly what I wanted then absolutely delivered. The attention to detail was on point, and the whole vibe of the shop is super welcoming. If you’re looking for a fresh cut and a great experience, definitely ask for Ricardo. Highly recommend!

Unprofessional behavior of the staff caused me to walk out. 06/26/24 at ~3:30pm I entered the store and was not greeted or asked if I was a walk-in or had an appointment, as other reputable barber shops I visit. I waited for about 5 minutes, used the restroom, and came back. About a minutes later Barber #1 finally asked if I had an appointment to which I relied walk in. This is when Barber #1 responded with “you should’ve said something,” and another barber added “closed mouths don’t get fed.” In between those two comments I replied with “you guys are a business aren’t you?”. I immediately walked out and will not be coming back to waist my time at a business with unprofessional employees that expect me to do their job.
