I’ve been bringing my son to Maurice since he was one years old, and I can honestly say he’s the best barber in town. I first met him at a back to school event where he was giving free haircuts to kids in the community, and that experience showed how much he truly cares for our families in our community. Ever since that day we haven’t gone to anyone else. Maurice has such a warm, welcoming energy, especially with children. He makes them feel comfortable and confident, and my son always leaves the chair looking sharp. His professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine love for what he does really stands out. My son’s hair is extremely curly, and not every barber knows how to cut that texture. There’s a certain technique you really have to understand and Maurice nailed it from day one.

I have been to at least a dozen barbers throughout the city, and have even moved out of state, but without hesitation, I keep on coming back to get the best haircuts at The Cut by Maurice. I usually get a haircut from Maurice, but have received haircuts from most of the other barbers as well, and they do not disappoint. I leave feeling like a new man, with a jolt of confidence. Maurice treats you like a friend you haven't seen in a while, but you know he would always have your back with the best cut in the city. The conversations are great, and the atmosphere they provide is just what you need after a long days work, or before a night out. I've been going to Maurice for a haircut for almost two decades, and leave happy every time.

My fiance got his haircut here while on vacation and they did a great job with his curly hair. It's a nice shop with friendly men. They were an amazingly tidy and timely. They had good customers too - you can tell they have a nice spot in their community. Definitely a local neighborhood feel that is welcome to walk-ins and tourists.
