Aubin and the girls at Color Bar were fantastic We took my soon to get a hair cut and Aubin and the rest of the girls were so so good with him and patient. Aubin did the best she could and was more than patient and understanding with both us and him. His last experience wasn’t the greatest with his previous stylist and she went above and beyond with my son. They have earned my business for myself and my son. Can’t say enough positive things

my niece went to Aubin to have her hair done with high lights and a root smudge to make sure her roots did not show for her baby shower !! she turned her roots YELLOW!! my niece messaged her and requested it be fixed and she said she would because it clearly didn’t take….we went back and she turned her roots ORANGE … clearly not what my niece asked for!! She said she had no idea why it didn’t work .. But she said she never told my niece her hair would be perfect!! my niece told her if she didn’t think she could do it then just color it all brown!!! Because she did not want yellow or brass roots she told her no she would do a warm color …. My niece HAS ORANGE ROOTS!! And she refuses to give her a refund!!!

As a stylist myself, I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience deserves one due to both the poor quality and the dismissive response I received. I came in for gray coverage and a blended, low-maintenance look, yet left with brassy, inconsistent highlights, no gray coverage, and even an entire section in the back left untouched. The stylist seemed distracted throughout the appointment, frequently taking phone calls and reusing the same cape from the previous client, which is something I would never do. Despite explaining my concerns afterward, her response was, “Sorry you didn’t like what I did. We should’ve just stuck with the root smudge in the first place. That’s all right, though; we tried something different that didn’t quite work out for you. Thanks for the feedback, enjoy

I have not gotten my hair done in YEARS and was anxious about my appointment, how it was going to go, etc. I cannot express at how great of experience it was to get my hair done by Lillian Olmstead. I got highlights done and they turned out fantastic!! Exactly how I wanted it and for what I believe was a reasonable price. It was a great environment, vibe and I loveeeee how my hair turned out. I am so excited to point everyone in her direction and brag about where I went. I would recommend again and again.
