I came in to see Beck the day before heading out on vacation, about 3 weeks ago. Up until then I had been buzz cutting my hair at home for the last 10+ years. Way back when it was to save money, but it turned into an anxiety thing. That said, I was ready for a change, had grown my hair out, and decided to take a Chance. I am glad I did. The environment was very relaxed and Beck made it a very comfortable and laid back experience. I had no idea what to do with my hair because I hadn't done anything but cut it all off and wear a hat for years, but he helped me figure it out and me and my family thought it turned out great. Where do I start? Beck is an amazing barber! I’ve been going to him for YEARS. He is a perfectionist which means that he won’t let you out of his shop without making sure you look the best you’ve ever looked! The atmosphere at the shop is like no other. It’s like going to your best friend’s place, he’s got sodas, wrestling playing and good vibes. Sometimes you are bestowed with the presence of one of the property cats he has unofficially adopted. Now if you are like me, sanitation is a big thing and I’ve been in some shops before where the sanitation is a bit questionable, but you don’t have to worry about that with Beck. Ok, so I have been getting my hair cut by Beck for over 2 years now, and I have to say this guy is so meticulous and takes his time doing what he loves to do! I will never go anywhere else unless he moves away or I move more then 2 hours away, even when I was transferred for a year about 2 hours from Medford I still came to get my hair cut from Beck. He is that good at what he does, and his personality is amazing, which, for me, is the main reason I'm there. The fact that he is excellent at what he does is just a bonus, it's all about customer service for me. My haircut is pretty simple, but i have seen his work from his clients before me, and he does an excellent job. I was referred to Beck by someone I trusted but I was, by the end of the appointment, amazed at the quality of the haircut and the service by Beck. I suspect someday his business will be wildly successful with the quality he brings to his company's business, but until then and especially now, having Beck personally being able to take care of how you look is a guaranteed best case scenario.
