I’ve been going to Madison Shackleford at the collective for a while, and she’s made me feel the most confident and beautiful I probably ever have! I’ve never had a stylist listen to every specific little detail of what I’m looking to get at every appointment and then do exactly that. Every. Single. Time. The salon itself is so pretty and cozy feeling and there are no weird or unkind vibes I’ve gotten from any of the girls there (odd thing to point out but I have at other salons I guess!) they’re so professional, and I genuinely feel like she’s a friend while I’m there. I also referred my bestie to her and she feels the same way, gets so many compliments, and I can tell she’s so much more confident too! Thank you Madison <3

Amber is one of my favorite stylists I’ve ever worked with. First, the energy and ambiance of The Collective is everything someone should feel when they sit down in a stylist’s chair - clean, comfortable, peacefully energetic, and calming. Add to that, Amber is extremely talented. Her work is an expression of her skills as an artist and a testimony to her interpersonal skills. We developed a framework of the look I had in mind during our first session. Every session afterward, she continues to ensure that I am comfortable with any changes we make before she starts working. One of the first times I knew I was in the right chair was when I brought a reference picture and I asked her opinion. She loved the look, but she helped guide me in how we could adjust the projection to fit my hair text

I can’t say enough good things about Amber! I’ve never loved my hair as much as I do now. She has an incredible gift. Not only is she highly skilled, but she really listens and understands exactly what I’m looking for. Every time I leave her chair, the results exceed my expectations. On top of that, the salon has such a vibrant and welcoming energy. It’s a wonderful space: beautiful, lively, and full of good vibes. You don’t just leave looking great, you leave feeling great too. She’s amazing at what she does, and I feel lucky to have found her!

Before I start this, keep in mind I had longer shoulder-length hair & it was decent in its thickness. Anyways, this was my first time getting i-tip hair extensions. I had an appointment at 9 in the morning & I kid you not, I stayed there until 3 in the afternoon. I wasted my whole entire day for something I didn’t like. The extensions I had been told to order wouldn’t “color” right, so she had to redo it like 3 times before it even got a little darker. I wanted it close to my natural color, and when I say it wasn’t even close… half of my hair was blonde, whereas my natural color was brown lol. The manager or owner even had to come look at it, and she didn’t even say anything other than “just try it one more time.” Lol, you should know better on what to do? Like what? I am never disappointed when I leave the collective!! it’s worth the time and money- it’s a calming experience and I always feel like a million bucks when i walk out!! would 100% recommend. Amber is a hair genius! 🔥
