The Clip Joint Salon

A friend of mine recommended the Clip Joint Salon after I mentioned I could not find a salon in Raleigh that I liked after moving there 6 years ago. I tried many but could not find one that was welcoming and could work magic on this 76 year old thinning hair! When I walked in the door at the Clip Joint it was like I walked into a spa, and all my stress disappeared! The fragrance and the lovely decor are so relaxing, but most of all I was graciously greeted by the owner, Mel, who offered me a complimentary cup of the best gourmet coffee topped with whipped cream! When I tell you I have never had a better experience, I have never! Dara, along with the rest of the staff, was amazing! We came in, after booking a last minute appointment. We were greeted instantly, Offered drinks (their coffee is amazing btw!), and from the start of the appointment to the finish, every one of our hair needs were met. Dara was amazing! She was able to fix what other stylists have messed up on and was able to do exactly what I wanted. I highly recommend this salon! We had such an amazing experience and can’t wait to come back again!

I can’t say enough great things about this salon! I came in way too blonde and desperate for some dimension and healthier-looking hair. Tori did an absolutely amazing job — she gave me the perfect blend of tones, cut off my dead ends, and somehow made my hair feel alive again! It looks so natural and soft now. Melody was also super helpful when I was trying to decide what direction to go in. She really took the time to explain what would help my hair look and feel healthier, and I’m so glad I listened! I left feeling confident, refreshed, and obsessed with my new look. Highly recommend this salon — especially Tori — if you want beautiful, healthy, dimensional hair!

What a great experience for my daughter. They pampered her and gave her an amazing hair cut. They took the time to explain what they were doing and how to maintain the style on her own. She looked so pretty when they were done with her. I would trust any of them with my kids.

The Clip Joint Salon is amazing!! The service is of course exceptional but the ladies are why I go there! Melody makes sure everyone feels special, beautiful, and loved! I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone leave not feeling on top of the world!
