The Clip Joint Barbershop

Stopped in thinking this was a barber shop, not an exclusive members-only speakeasy. The male barber said they were booked for the day, which is fair. I then made the unforgivable mistake of asking about an appointment. The female barber responded with “maybe next year,” delivered with the confidence and attitude of someone who clearly hates customers. I assumed it was sarcasm. Nope. Dead serious. Apparently I should’ve known better than to walk into a business and expect… business. Only after that awkward exchange did the male barber apologize and explain they aren’t taking new clients — useful information that could’ve been shared *before* the unnecessary rudeness. I have gone to The Clip Joint since Pete and Nina started nearly 30 years ago. The best barbers around by far. Great personalities, service and reputation. You will not be disappointed! Because they are so popular, plan to make a reservation at least 2 months out! If there were more than 5 stars, I would give them more.

Only $12 is a steal. Great atmosphere and great barbers. I always have Pete cut my hair and he sure knows his way around a head of hair. Highly recommended for anyone in the area.

There's no where better, trust me I've looked. I make the drive from Green Bay with my 3yo son every three weeks to get cleaned up. Pete and Nina are great. Straight razor shave on the back of your neck. They can shape a beard. Besides barbers, they are good artists, great conversationalists, and very down to earth. Good folk.
