The Chop Shop barbershop

This was my first time coming to this shop (the location on Tenn st.) I needed a correctional cut for my nephew where Camacho's messed him up pretty bad. And THEN overcharged me for it. Anyway, we got to meet and sit with JP today and he did a PHENOMENAL job. He took his time, made sure to do it right & ask my nephew's opinion throughout the cut. He seriously did prob the best cut Tucker has ever had (He has textured hair and is a teenage boy who doesn't take care of it a lot, so that alone proves what a task it could have been). I can't say enough good things about JP, Danny, and the rest of the staff at The Chop Shop. I wish I would have followed my gut and the online reviews and went there first, but after the ordeal and my brother in law also suggesting The Chop Shop I knew it was the

I’m new to the area and needed a haircut for an upcoming job interview. I happened to bump into the owner at their new location near Dollar General. He was very friendly and took the time to share information about his barbershop, so I checked out their work on social media and liked what I saw. I scheduled an appointment for 11:30 a.m. but arrived around 10:45 a.m., and everyone was welcoming and laid-back. I was assigned to a barber named Nestor, and after explaining what I wanted, he offered a few suggestions that I agreed with. Nestor was extremely professional, and the entire experience was relaxing—from the haircut to the mustache and beard work. When he finished and showed me the final result, I was beyond impressed. Hands down, this was the best haircut I’ve ever had in my life.

We came yesterday for my son a haircut. Told the guy that cut his hair multiple times amd showed multiple pictures even of my sons hair that was cut previously and wanted it the same of what I wanted done and didnt do what I wanted at all. My son's got a mullet and i wanted it cut a certain fade cut. Well his shears kept clipping the longest parts of his hair so now there's choppy parts in it .. cut alot more off the back than I said to. I kept on having to tell him where to cut more off the sides on the fade. I dont think we will be back.. im very very unhappy about his haircut. They messed it up so much and we've been growing it out the length for over a year now. Update. Dont attempt to say something after the fact or you'll just be attacked! Ridiculous service. We will never be back

The place is mid, the barber I had was very hard to communicate with, showed a reference photo; got no where. Once the style was done it came out terrible. There is no show of interest, just expect to come in knowing what you want (understandable), but also as a barber show some interest, give recommendations of what kind of style should fit you, I got none of that.

Brought my kids in and they were treated so well. Great service and great cuts.* Will be back !!
