The Captain's Chair Barbershop

We took my grandson Lucas in for his very first *big boy* haircut at The Captain’s Chair, and Felipe absolutely nailed it. Up until now we’ve always gone to the places with the little power-wheels seats, but Lucas is four now and we wanted to make the jump to a real barber shop. Felipe made that transition feel easy. He was gentle and so kind, talking to Lucas the entire time and keeping him relaxed and smiling. He even went above and beyond with the coolest little “lines” on the side of his hair. Lucas was so proud he immediately FaceTimed every single family member to show off his new look. And the best part was him walking out the door saying, “Gigi, I like this place, it is awesome.” From a four-year-old, that’s all I need to hear. We’ll definitely be back.

Erik did my cut and beard/eyebrows and it was on point and he was genuinely a good man easy to converse with and really seemed to love what he does and pays attention to detail!

Felipe cut my 5 year old sons hair and Erick cut mine and lined my beard up exactly the way I requested. I gotta be honest, super stoked to have found this place. Both are great dudes and made us first time customers feel at home. Highly recommend these dudes and this place. We will 100% be regulars 🙏🏻

Admittedly, I haven’t been to a barber in many years because I just shave my own head, but it was time for a beard trim and shaping. I didn’t know what to expect, but Luis totally exceeded anything I could have expected. I’m very happy with the trim and the overall service! Luis was very friendly, and the shop was very clean. Making an appointment was also very easy. I didn’t buy any beard care products today, but they had quite a nice selection. When I’m ready for another trim, I’ll be back! If I had hair on top of my head, I’d trust them with that too!

Felipe is not only a fantastic and experienced barber, but an artist! I showed him a picture of what I would like and he went above and beyond. If I could have given him 6 stars I would have. Great job!! This is my barbershop going forward.
