The Campus Salon (Replaced by Om Hair Salon)

I went to this salon for a keratin treatment, and I was told it would last up to 6 months. Unfortunately, after only two washes, my hair became frizzy again and looked almost the same as before. When I brought this up, the stylist said, “This is just how keratin works” and claimed it only reduces frizz a little. This was not what I paid for, nor what was promised. The service did not deliver the expected results at all, and I cannot recommend it.

Karen has been my biweekly stylist for over 4 years now. I am always satisfied with the results. She also does my daughters' and granddaughter's hair when they come to the area.

If you're gnc, make sure you book with a stylist that other gnc folks have had positive appointments with. Bishops is a good example of a salon that that has an appointment selection system that is lgbt+ friendly. One stylist was passive aggressive with me for getting a haircut that didn't fit my perceived gender. It was such a bad experience that I only go to lgbt+ friendly salons now. And if the store owner is reading this again, maybe use that energy for something else instead of telling lgbt students or any other marginalized students who you’ve treated unkindly what they did/didn’t experience. namaste ❤️

Bad Cut, even worse customer service! If you value your hair or money, BEWARE! Recently moved here and thought this would be convenient since all I wanted was a trim. The first time I went in the trim was fine, just a little too much off of the top. I advised this the second time I went in and again a little too much off the top. I'm not obsessed with my hair, so it really wasn't that big of a deal since hair does grow. Stupidly, I gave them another attempt. I advised that the last two times you took too much off the top. The stylist decided unilaterally to cut off all of the length. I was shocked when she made the first cut (nearly 2 1/2"). I now have a bob cut, even though I asked for a trim! Aleshia did my hair, and I was doing a pretty big chop which I was nervous about. The haircut itself is fantastic! Aleshia gave me a gorgeous bob and curtain bangs, and styled it very very well. She was also incredibly knowledgeable and educated me throughout the appointment about what she was using on my hair and why. She was also incredibly sweet and nice to talk to! Would highly recommend the Campus Salon and Aleshia to anyone!
