It’s such a peaceful, inviting environment — beautifully styled and totally private, which makes it feel like a little retreat right in Thousand Oaks. Kari is incredibly talented. She listened closely to what I wanted, offered helpful input, and delivered a cut that I absolutely LOVE. You can tell she’s a true artist with hair, and watching her work alongside her daughter made the experience even more special. The energy between them is warm, genuine, and empowering. From the moment I walked in, Ally made me feel right at home. She’s incredibly personable, fun, and attentive—checking in with me throughout the entire process to make sure I was comfortable and happy. I am a new client for Kari at The Bungalow Salon. I had a wonderful first visit yesterday and I love my haircut so much. Kari was so patient as I discussed with her certain issues I had in regards to my thin very fine hair. Plus some allergies I have as well. She made me feel very comfortable and I could see she genuinely wanted to be of help to me. She was excited to give me a cute haircut! Was looking for a new hair colorist and stylist since the retirement of my last one. After disappointing experiences decided to try Kari. What a difference! She turned my highlighted hot mess of hair into a beautiful, natural look that complements my coloring. She listened, made suggestions, and made time to really address my hair needs. Her daughter Allie works with her and they are both the nicest people. The salon is beautifully redone and so comfortable. I highly recommend to all.

I have been coming to the bungalow salon for years and I love Kari and Ally!! I get my hair cut and colored. The color is perfect, I always get compliments on it. Having thick hair can be tricky but they have mastered the cut. I can’t recommend them enough :)
