The Brickyard Collaborative

I have been involved with the Brickyard for several years now and am plesantly in love with the small tight knit commjnity here that wants to create and share experiences. Their classes are always taught by lovely people with plenty of knowledge on their subjects, the tools available for use after training are plentiful and the current board are amazing in their leadership in moving the community in a positive direction. Been happily renting space and paying for a full time membership. Highly recommend joining!

Why thank you, Grant! That shop represents about 10 years of my personal work, both in finding and securing funding, and scouring the countryside for tools we could use, fix or repurpose for the members. I appreciate your appreciation!

I found this Makerspace last year and joined the same day I took the tour. It’s 10,000 sq feet and they have plenty of tools and equipment. Including a wood-shop , laser printers, 3D lab, textile space and more, you really have to take a tour to see everything. The members are all helpful and friendly. If you need space to DIY, create or build something this is the spot. The other nice thing is they are always trying to improve and expand on what is already there.

Undoubtedly, the best-equipped maker space I've ever encountered. This isn't just a space with a couple computers and some 3D printers (although that is available), there are fully-equipped and separated wood shop, metal shop, rapid prototyping area, fabric/textiles lab, electronics lab, etc. All the other members have been friendly and helpful with onboarding, and the ability to have my own work and storage space within is priceless.

Such a great organization. You can go in with an idea and build it. Wood shop, 3d printing, electronics and more. Just go in with an idea and start creating.
